We had the fish platter and it was PERFECT. This is probably the most tender fish I’ve ever had. It was cooked perfectly, the breading was crisp and light, and the fish itself tasted light and perfect. Everything was super hot and I enjoyed the pickle and onions it also came with. We opted to change one of the platter’s fries out for fried okra and it was also delicious. When we walked in we were greeted and everything was super fast and the fish and fries were cooked to order. The price is great for a full dinner that you will definitely have leftovers from.
Great spot to grab decent food with great customer service. Fish and burgers are fantastic. The greens were not seasoned but nothing a little hot sauce didn't fix. People were really nice.
This place is GREAT! The people here are so friendly and welcoming, they make ya feel like you just came home. And the food... I haven't found one thing on the menu that wasn't fantastic. If you're going to anywhere else in town you're wasting your money and missing out. Yes, they're that good.
My husband and I had the 10.99 lunch special. I had chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes with white gravy, green beans and a roll. This special also comes with a fountain drink. It was delicious!!! My husband had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with white gravy and fried okra. He said it was delicious too! Give them a try. You will nit be sorry. We will go back!
We grabbed some cafeteria plates to go. Fantastic amount of food for the price. We'll definitely make this a regular spot to visit.
